Bounty Launches New Survival Guide Website For Dads

Dedicated to providing men with advice on pregnancy and newborns

26 September 2008

Almost half of all dads (48%) use the Internet to find parenting advice, answers and support designed with dads in mind.  However, one in every ten of those who searched for information complained that it was mainly geared towards mums, says Bounty, the UK’s favourite parenting club.  Today, (26th September 2008) Bounty is launching a new site dedicated to new and expectant dads who want to access expert advice on pregnancy and newborn babies.

www.newdadssurvivalguide.com uses humorous language and a Top Gear approach to providing ‘bite-sized’ practical information, product reviews and test drives.  The site’s writers, also include “Gadget Show” favourite and father of two, Jason Bradbury.  Every member receives tailored ‘progress’ newsletters and can research their partner’s pregnancy and get answers to new dad questions in a safe place.

Dorothy Thomas, editor of Bounty.com said, ”New and expectant dads have thousands of questions they want answered, but worry about asking the wrong thing at the wrong time and get embarrassed. The quality of information and anonymity of this new site provides the perfect training ground for surviving the first steps of fatherhood.”
